It began in 2017. They first met at a Christian students community in Fakultas Hukum Universitas Indonesia. He was her senior, a year older. They grew closer as friends when they were assigned in a same team for a ministry event. The sparks was already there. They had eyes for each other. But then they set their eyes to remained focus on their ministry. And so they kept it all inside—for some time.

After the event was done, it was not long until their love blossomed. They soon confessed their feelings and expressed their intentions. It was mutual. It was like the stars aligned for them to be together. Only it was not—they believe it was God who graciously crossed their paths.

Benedict and Josephine have been inseparable ever since. They went through sleepless college nights, exhilarating graduations, nervy first-jobs, sloppy career choices, humbling defeats, and satisfying victories. They held on to each other through thick and thin (both figuratively and literally). They have been learning of what it means to love each other. And they have found that the right way to love is to reflect the love of their Savior, Jesus Christ, who has loved them first.

The truth is, they always knew that they would end up together (or at least they hoped). So in 2024, after 7 years together, they decided they wanted forever.

And now in 2025, they will finally tie the knot.
